                            My First Encounter with African Culture – Music and Dance

   

         This is my first time to learn the African Drum at the post-exam activity in my school . I think is it interesting and more about it. But, before the activity ,i think it would be boring in African Drum ,it is wrong.

        That day, after the lunch i went to the playground with my friend and waiting the guide teacher to start taught us how to play the African Drum .He taught us how to clap our hand and learn the beat before playing the African Drum. I think it was easy to learn a beat to me because i learned the piano. After the practice, we hold the African Drum and start playing .Wher we were all playing the African Drum ,the scound was very loud and powerful.

        In the activity , not only playing the African Drum , the black person invite somebody to the middle dancing with him and sing. It make us felt higher . The clssmates and teacher is very shy. African guide teacher was very happily too.   Also he invited our principal Sister Cheung dancing with him. She was very enjoyable and smile to all . 

    

                At the end, i think the event location make me felt very hot after playing the African Drumn . I am very happy in this day. And learned the new musical instruments.
